02 — MISSION

A family foundation with clear purpose

Based in the heart of the City of London, we support organisations creating measurable social good.

The Rankin Family Foundation was established to formalise the family's commitment to philanthropy — directing resources toward causes that align with our values and demonstrate accountable, outcomes-focused work.

From our base at Dashwood House on Old Broad Street, we engage with registered charities, community organisations, and educational institutions across the United Kingdom and, where appropriate, internationally.

We prioritise partnerships built on trust, due diligence, and shared ambition — not transactional giving, but collaborative investment in change.

What guides us

  • 01Integrity — honest, accountable stewardship of family resources
  • 02Impact — support that creates measurable, lasting outcomes
  • 03Partnership — working alongside capable, committed organisations
  • 04Patience — long-term thinking over short-term visibility
